The DC-390U2W controller supports the new Low Voltage Differential (LVD) SCSI standard for reduced bus noise, improved performance and longer cable length. ASPI (Advanced SCSI Programming Interface) managers for the following operating systems are included: MS-DOS, Windows 95/98/NT, SCO Unix, NetWare.

Model DC-390U2W can support SCSI-2, Ultra-Wide and Ultra2 devices. The Symbios 53C141 Isolation IC allows all devices to work at their full speed with no degradation of performance to the Ultra2 bus. DC-390U2W ships with Internal Ultra2, Ultra-Wide and SCSI-2 cables, as well as an Ultra2 Terminator and an Internal-to-External SCSI-2 adapter bracket.
